Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MILAN. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Astozas in the 5th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Kornaszewski in the 7th minute of play. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Szymon Erland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Guillermo Astozas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Witalis Kornaszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 乔亮益 made a great header on MILAN's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of MILAN booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Witalis Kornaszewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute Witalis Kornaszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes in the game, Witalis Kornaszewski dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Szymon Erland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Szymon Erland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guillermo Astozas took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, MILAN's 乔亮益 got a free kick in the 66th minute. Szymon Erland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by MILAN's Witalis Kornaszewski. But to his dismay, Witalis Kornaszewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. MILAN made a substitution. Octavio Salvator replaced Witalis Kornaszewski. A hard shot 80 in the game by Frank Sachs from a close distance when the talented Szymon Erland managed to make a qualified save. MILAN's players were relieved. In the 82nd match minute, MILAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 乔亮益 to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Germany's Willy Stieler got a free kick in the 85th minute. 乔亮益, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Guillermo Astozas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, MILAN's 乔亮益 got a free kick in the 90th minute. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Szymon Erland having to make a save. If Guillermo Astozas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MILAN.
