A hard shot 10 in the game by Dallas Kuch from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Ollie Norwood managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mount Pleasant FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ollie Norwood was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dallas Kuch went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Mount Pleasant FC's Randell Gledden got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mount Pleasant FC's goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dallas Kuch in the 25th minute. Ollie Norwood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. In the 31st minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Ollie Norwood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Ollie Norwood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Ollie Norwood got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 39 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Ollie Norwood kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ollie Norwood in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ollie Norwood made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Mount Pleasant FC's Dallas Kuch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 57 played minutes Mount Pleasant FC got a freekick which was hit by Cain Barker. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ollie Norwood in the 60th minute of play. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Dallas Kuch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Ramsdal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dallas Kuch in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dallas Kuch in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaron Ramsdal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 77 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ollie Norwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
