Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) S.C. Potentia's Roman Pitin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Roman Pitin lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Hias Nüssli. If Codrin Matei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 11 played minutes S.C. Potentia got a freekick which was hit by Anton Rovsing. Ramazan Mirza hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Codrin Matei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Codrin Matei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Samuele Kunz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 minutes of play, S.C. Potentia's Codrin Matei made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hias Nüssli was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jurgen Planting during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Switzerland booed when S.C. Potentia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jurgen Planting didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codrin Matei might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hias Nüssli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Codrin Matei ran back to his position shaking his head. Codrin Matei's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Hias Nüssli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Switzerland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roman Pitin was slow to take the kick. During this time S.C. Potentia's players had a chance to rest. Roman Pitin made a great header on S.C. Potentia's corner, it was just that Switzerland's Hias Nüssli managed to reach the ball for a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuele Kunz to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to S.C. Potentia getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ramazan Mirza hit a great ball. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Pitin in the 57th minute of play. In the 58thth minute of the game Codrin Matei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Switzerland's Hias Nüssli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 61st play minutes Codrin Matei shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Hias Nüssli and just under the crossbar into goal. After 67 played minutes Switzerland got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo von Känel. After 68 played minutes, S.C. Potentia's Roman Pitin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hias Nüssli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.C. Potentia reached it. Gustav Iseli kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Hias Nüssli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codrin Matei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A wasted opportunity for S.C. Potentia. The supporters of S.C. Potentia booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Iseli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The S.C. Potentia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Switzerland had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
