America Futebol Clube SP's Nildo Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 3rd minute of play. Major Barna spun around in front of the goal 3 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of America Futebol Clube SP's goal. In the 7th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nildo Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Nildo Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nildo Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nildo Lara quite easily take care of the ball. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nildo Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilton Sanches during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Hungary booed when America Futebol Clube SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilton Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nildo Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Perivaldo das Neves during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Perivaldo das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hungary's Antal Valentin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for America Futebol Clube SP. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo Lara having to interfere. After 30 minutes America Futebol Clube SP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. In the 33rd match minute, America Futebol Clube SP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Sanches to maneuver through the defense. Jonas das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Perivaldo das Neves was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Perivaldo das Neves hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 40th minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Nildo Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Balazs Lajos made a precise shot to the right of Nildo Lara. America Futebol Clube SP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nildo Lara firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Nildo Lara in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hegedus Henrik hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Takacs Tibor scored 0-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nildo Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. America Futebol Clube SP's Nildo Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 65th minute of play. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Nildo Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nildo Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nildo Lara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Nildo Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Nildo Lara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. With a little luck, America Futebol Clube SP's Nildo Lara got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antal Valentins short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Nildo Lara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo Lara having to interfere. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Takacs Tibor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.
