Vassilis Nentakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Vassilis Nentakis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Toledo's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Róbson Velasco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gabriel Ascaso. The goal made the score 1-0. Vassilis Nentakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 13th minute of play. Adria Bielsa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Vassilis Nentakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Santiago Sartori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. S.E. Pindorama Eagles made a substitution. Ştefan Magheran replaced Róbson Velasco. In the 18th match minute, Spain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Sartori to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Ascaso made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ştefan Magheran sent off a good shot on target. If Ştefan Magheran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ştefan Magheran got free with Gabriel Ascaso in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Omar Toledo made a precise shot to the right of Vassilis Nentakis. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Vassilis Nentakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Pindorama Eagles's zone, Omar Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vassilis Nentakis came out of the goal and Omar Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. Vassilis Nentakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Toledo in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute of the match Spain got a corner. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Omar Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 60 played minutes Spain got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Merino. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Frits van Gaal was substituted for Inácio Ponta. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's Maicon Palmeira was substituted for Diamantino Neves. In the 63rdth minute of the game Frits van Gaal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spain's Gabriel Ascaso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frits van Gaal in the 67th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frits van Gaal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes, Ştefan Magheran made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. The audience was convinced that Ştefan Magheran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Ascaso was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Juvenal Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ascaso having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Carles Cherro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vassilis Nentakis. S.E. Pindorama Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carles Cherro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Palmeira in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frits van Gaal in the 86th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Frits van Gaal came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vassilis Nentakis was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Pau Herrero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pau Herrero really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. The S.E. Pindorama Eagles supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Spain's performance. The match ended with a win for Spain.
