Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, DIÖ IK's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Yngve Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after DIÖ IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. The corner led to Netherlands's Lars Meesters getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Yngve Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 10th minute of play forced DIÖ IK's goalkeeper Yngve Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DIÖ IK's Olov Stolpe pulled a muscle in his leg after 11 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bas Tuitert during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Göransson having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, DIÖ IK's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Yngve Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of DIÖ IK's Yngve Göransson. Yngve Göransson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 28 minutes into the match, DIÖ IK's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Yngve Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tage Vassenius. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lars Meesters hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Yngve Göransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Staffan Ivarsson to make the kick off. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yngve Göransson was a little too slow when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-2. The audience was convinced that Lars Meesters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yngve Göransson was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After having played for 61 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yngve Göransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 64th minute of play. Rasmus Jelm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yngve Göransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 71st minute of the match. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Göransson having to interfere. With his leg Yngve Göransson managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Netherlands's Wim Wilmes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staffan Ivarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Yngve Göransson threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mathijn Doctor kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The DIÖ IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
