Carolo Jerardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Cidro in the 10th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Oroitz in the 13th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Deportivo Pergamino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Egun to maneuver through the defense. Portugal's Felipe Barreto took a good shot, in the 18th minute, which hit the crossbar above Roberto Bonano's head, and flew over the goal. Deportivo Pergamino's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Portugal. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Bonano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Pergamino's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. Deportivo Pergamino's Roberto Bonano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 25th minute of play. Roberto Bonano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Pergamino's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Felipe Barreto was slow to take the kick. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Viriato Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Bonano came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gustavo Che kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Barreto in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto Bonano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Bonano having to make a save. Roberto Bonano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Cidro in the 51st minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Cidro in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Roberto Bonano in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Pimentel struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Roberto Bonano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. In the 61st minute, Gustavo Che hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Pergamino's Roberto Bonano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 64th minute of play. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Roberto Bonano made a huge save. Deportivo Pergamino's Roberto Bonano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Pergamino from getting a goal against them. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Gustavo Che got a throw-in 75 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Nunez Oroitz. With his leg Roberto Bonano managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Portugal's Felipinho Amorim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Gustavo Che hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Bruno Bastos hit a great ball. Rodolfo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Jeraldo in the 91st minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipinho Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roberto Bonano came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias. But to his dismay, Bartolomeu Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
