Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zaccheo Andolina kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Jose Indalecio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Alessandro Micucci tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Ekrot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Siricio Liotta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Siricio Liotta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Ekrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The corner led Italy's Sigfrido Auletta to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcus Ekrot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Micucci in the 23rd minute of play. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Emmanuel Dennis sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute, Sigfrido Auletta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mutumba in the 30th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Martin Mutumba came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Vykans Vikingar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Mutumba couldn't finish the play. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Eden, made in the 38th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Flavio Vittori successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Vykans Vikingar booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigfrido Auletta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessandro Micucci made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Micucci in the 53rd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Porziano Marchitelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Christoffer Johansson replaced Elliott Bogren. After 58 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Porziano Marchitelli. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Vykans Vikingar's Alessandro Micucci. But to his dismay, Alessandro Micucci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Italy's Siricio Liotta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Eden in the 69 minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Italy's Marcus Ekrot threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zaccheo Andolina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vykans Vikingar's Börje Stål was substituted for Alessandro Micucci. In the 72nd minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcus Ekrot made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Porziano Marchitelli sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcus Ekrot. Marcus Ekrot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Remicio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Adriano Curto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Eden made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Martin Mutumba. Italy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
