Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) New Loser FC's Fausto Montel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after New Loser FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 김 담 quite easily take care of the ball. New Loser FC's 김 담 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 김 담 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th minute, Ruy Teles made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. 김 담 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 23rd minute of play forced New Loser FC's goalkeeper 김 담 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind New Loser FC's goalkeeper 김 담, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after New Loser FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matias Viña got free with Arnout Reekers in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in New Loser FC's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 김 담 came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to New Loser FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Maurinho da Silva hit a great ball. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 55 minutes into the game, Ruy Teles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 59 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goalkeeper 김 담 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. 61 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. 김 담 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruy Teles in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goalkeeper 김 담 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Filipe Donatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 김 담 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when New Loser FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. New Loser FC made a substitution. Denílson Vides replaced Ezequiel Novaes. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for New Loser FC! In the 79th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 김 담 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Qin Yang Yan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 김 담 made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Maurinho da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurinho da Silva helped the player get up and apologised. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruy Teles in the 93rd minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
