In the 18th match minute, BK Nerysminne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Finnman to maneuver through the defense. Viktor Botvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonhard Maier in the 26th minute of play. Viktor Botvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute of the match Emil Myr sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Auer skillfully saved the ball. Viktor Botvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Schneider, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Viktor Botvidsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Schneider went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. BK Nerysminne's Viktor Botvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Schneider in the 43rd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When Rafael Riedl fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of BK Nerysminne booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Seidler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmy Finnman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Auer having to interfere. Viktor Botvidsson made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Fabio Schneider sent off a good shot on target. Leonhard Maier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Viktor Botvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
