In the 27th minute, Jerzy Haszczak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maxime Durand. The goal made the score 1-0. Jerzy Haszczak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maxime Durand came out and tried to block the shot, but Jerzy Haszczak slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Vidal in the 32nd minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Peletier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Haszczak in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxence Durand to maneuver through the defense. Eric Connor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maxime Durand. France's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th match minute, ARLO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Michael to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jerzy Haszczak made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Jerzy Haszczak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 60th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Peletier to maneuver through the defense. Eric Cantona struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jacobo Austin charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobo Austin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes ARLO FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Austin.
