Switzerland's Samuele Kunz got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, BK Nerysminne's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Maurer came free, but Viktor Botvidsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Samuele Kunz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per-Erik Gallin during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Switzerland booed when BK Nerysminne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Erik Gallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Samuele Kunz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to BK Nerysminne getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Hector Hanmark hit a great ball. Jacinto Maurer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Viktor Botvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BK Nerysminne's Viktor Botvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuele Kunz in the 20th minute of play. Switzerland's Gustav Iseli got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Hanmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Rodrigo von Känel made a precise shot to the right of Viktor Botvidsson. BK Nerysminne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Viktor Botvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuele Kunz, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. BK Nerysminne's Viktor Botvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Maurer in the 35th minute of play. When Rodrigo von Känel came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Switzerland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo von Känel couldn't finish the play. Samuele Kunz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuele Kunz to make the kick off. Viktor Botvidsson was a little too slow when Jacinto Maurer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-5. With his leg Viktor Botvidsson managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Switzerland's Samuele Kunz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Maurer got free with Viktor Botvidsson in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Switzerland were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after BK Nerysminne's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Samuele Kunz took the corner. Switzerland played a much better game than BK Nerysminne and deserved their victory. The BK Nerysminne players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
