In the 31st match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Waismann to maneuver through the defense. If Fabio Schneider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Galishoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Koehler having to interfere. In the 41st minute Fred Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marvin Harrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Araguaia Sport Clube booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonhard Maier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin das Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Marquez made a kick off. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Araguaia Sport Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sandro Galishoff was slow to take the kick. During this time Austria's players had a chance to rest. Austria's Sandro Galishoff was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Clemente Koehler in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Murillo Salles hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute of the game, Donato Mesquita landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Austria! Luan Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The supporters of Austria booed when Araguaia Sport Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Araguaia Sport Clube were victorious despite being under pressure from Austria for much of the match.
