Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Toni Mauzer started the match with the kick off. After having played for 6 minutes, Ademir Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araguaia Sport Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademir Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clemente Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damir Pongrac, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Araguaia Sport Clube's Gualter Vander got a free kick in the 14th minute. Araguaia Sport Clube's Clemente Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Mauzer in the 20th minute of play. Croatia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Luan Botelho scored to the left of an out of position Ilija Skugor, making the score, 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Araguaia Sport Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Damir Pongrac came free, but Clemente Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Araguaia Sport Clube's zone, Toni Mauzer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Koehler came out of the goal and Toni Mauzer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Araguaia Sport Clube's Edvaldo Donatello dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Ilija Skugor made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Fred Marquez sent off a good shot on target. When Araguaia Sport Clube's Fred Marquez in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Croatia's goalie prevented a goal. 44 minutes into the game, Benjamin das Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Araguaia Sport Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Croatia the free kick. A collision led to Araguaia Sport Clube getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Benjamin das Neves hit a great ball. Toni Mauzer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute Dinko Stankovic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Marquez to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Luan Botelho made a precise shot to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. A collision led to Araguaia Sport Clube getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Luan Botelho hit a great ball. Dinko Stankovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Koehler having to interfere. Fred Marquez scored 4-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilija Skugor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clemente Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Mauzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dinko Stankovic got free with Clemente Koehler in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clemente Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Mauzer in the 80th minute of play. After 86 minutes, Toni Mauzer made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Araguaia Sport Clube's Clemente Koehler tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gualter Vander's late challenge caught a Croatia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualter Vander helped the player get up and apologised. Gualter Vander hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Toni Mauzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Croatia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Croatia may have spent more time on the ball, but Araguaia Sport Clube were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
