Khalid Kennedy made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Liu Nan sent off a good shot on target. Liu Nan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Khalid Kennedy came out and tried to block the shot, but Liu Nan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amedeo Scrima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Issac Dawson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amedeo Scrima was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 23rd minute Kyle Cox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amedeo Scrima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Micah Macdonald hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Amadeu Quintal notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of England's Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 34th minute of play forced Atletico Roma's goalkeeper Amedeo Scrima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kyle Cox struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Amedeo Scrima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. Kyle Cox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amedeo Scrima having to interfere. Fabrizio Vulcano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Amedeo Scrima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Cox stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute England were awarded a corner. Micah Macdonald went to the cornerflag to take it. After 58 played minutes Atletico Roma got a freekick which was hit by Dino Albertini. After taking down the ball on England's corner Issac Dawson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amedeo Scrima quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Issac Dawson sped through Atletico Roma's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amedeo Scrima. Atletico Roma's Ciccio Di Meo was substituted for Marin Rozet. Atletico Roma's Lúcio de Queiroz was substituted for Liu Nan. Atletico Roma made a substitution. Amerigo Loreto replaced Amadeu Quintal. Ciccio Di Meo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, England's Micah Macdonald tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Issac Dawson fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored England's protests and gave Issac Dawson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atletico Roma booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Issac Dawson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Amerigo Loreto notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of England's Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 73 minutes into the game, Micah Macdonald was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. England's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Roma the free kick. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Micah Macdonald hit a great ball. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio de Queiroz in the 74th minute of play. Fulvio Carosella hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Amedeo Scrima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Atletico Roma's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
