Lenílson Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efraim Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute Efraim Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gremengo FCCMZ's Edinho Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 20th minute of play. Major Barna was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Matviy Krutyvus tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edinho Neto. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Efraim Morais to make the kick off. In the 76th minute, Cleiton Neto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gremengo FCCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
