No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Arnoud Ooms recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Esteban Lekubegi made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Augusto Arruda in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Nico Waismann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Austria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KP Skępe the free kick. After 96 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Nico Waismann. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KP Skępe had played much better football throughout.
