Fabian Söderström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thodoris Tassoulis in the 10th minute of play. Thodoris Tassoulis scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Söderström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ingvar Nykvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remy Van Eyken in the 20th minute of play. Thodoris Tassoulis scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Söderström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thodoris Tassoulis came free, but Fabian Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Denílson Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabachana F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Denílson Tepedino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Söderström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Thodoris Tassoulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Tepedino came free, but Fabian Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denílson Tepedino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Söderström having to make a save. Ingvar Nykvist made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Rigoberto Piearres sent off a good shot on target. Haithabu FC's Rigoberto Piearres came free and shot a quick shot against goal 37 minutes in the game, fortunately Ingvar Nykvist had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 38th minute Thodoris Tassoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Söderström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Thodoris Tassoulis notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström. Fabian Söderström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabian Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd match minute, Haithabu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Martínez Quarta to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denílson Tepedino got free with Fabian Söderström in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Söderström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thodoris Tassoulis in the 55th minute. Tabachana F.C.'s Waldir Laguna was substituted for Charilaos Tzanetakos. Tabachana F.C.'s Saulão Chettle was substituted for Errikos Tsirigopoulos. Tabachana F.C. made a substitution. Erling Lewandowski replaced Thodoris Tassoulis. 63 minutes into the game, Erling Lewandowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Fabian Söderström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Erling Lewandowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström got control of the ball when Denílson Tepedino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabian Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erling Lewandowski in the 72nd minute of the match. Tabachana F.C.'s Ingvar Nykvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Slaghmeulders in the 79th minute of play. Denílson Tepedino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Fabian Söderström made a huge save. In the 86th minute Jacinto Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Nykvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Nykvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Albonico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haithabu FC's Fabian Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Tepedino in the 89th minute of play.
