Gustaf Eklunds short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Arnout Reekers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 11 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joakim Hökkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joakim Hökkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14thth minute of the game Gustaf Eklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuel Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anabolic Boys's goalkeeper Joakim Hökkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaf Eklund went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Eklund in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Krister Thedin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anabolic Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wim Wilmes in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joakim Hökkvist saved Anabolic Boys from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krister Thedin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 40th minute of play forced Anabolic Boys's goalkeeper Joakim Hökkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Hökkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Anabolic Boys getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Rudolf Nyström hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Anabolic Boys's Joakim Hökkvist. Joakim Hökkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Anabolic Boys's Benjamin Artmann was substituted for Krister Thedin. Gustaf Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Joakim Hökkvist made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Sonny Sigman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Gustaf Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Artmann in the 66th minute of play. When Anabolic Boys's Gustaf Eklund in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dani Alves in the 86th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Anabolic Boys's Joakim Hökkvist. Joakim Hökkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Joakim Hökkvist threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wim Wilmes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
