Henrich Slany was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Metod Mlynar charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Metod Mlynar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Metod Mlynar to maneuver through the defense. Jerzy Kojder took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 20 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Holub. Metod Mlynar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 60th minute, Jerzy Kojder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Daniel Suchy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The penalty shot was made by Grzegorz Jaruzelski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Slovakia's Henrich Slany. 4-0. Jurand Jakisz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Vavrinec Koleno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovakia's supporters rose to their feet, but Vavrinec Koleno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cyryl Kostka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mazur Elk - koniec gry fans cheered their team off the field, for while Slovakia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
