Will Muralhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Will Muralhas. SE Palmeiras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 8th minute, Antal Valentin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Will Muralhas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. A collision led to SE Palmeiras getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Dito Donatello hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antal Valentin in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Will Muralhas saved SE Palmeiras from getting behind. The supporters of Hungary booed when SE Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredinho Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Will Muralhas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Will Muralhas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The excitement rose when Hungary's Antal Valentin after 32 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-4. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Will Muralhas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giuseppe Esteves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Antal Valentin took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Will Muralhas to make any attempt to save it. 56 minutes into the match, Hungary's Balazs Lajos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Will Muralhas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Will Muralhas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Major Barna's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. If Balazs Lajos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SE Palmeiras's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Will Muralhas came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Will Muralhas having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Will Muralhas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Major Barna succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-9 in the 87th playminute. Major Barna scored 0-10 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Will Muralhas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
