Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. Viriato Moura took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eraldo Guzman. Eraldo Guzman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristopher de Alcântara in the 63rd minute of the match. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Budget Goblins's Iwan Makomaski was substituted for Leszek Dobrzechowski. A sloppy throw-in by Rodolfo Miranda in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Budget Goblins's Adebowale á Neystabø. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Portugal succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Budget Goblins had controlled the match.
