Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Turgut Turgut got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Turgut Turgut came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Gold Raiders FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Turgut Turgut couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Gold Raiders FC's Turgut Turgut ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Turgut Turgut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Gold Raiders FC's Arkın Gariboğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Turgut Turgut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Turgut Turgut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Gold Raiders FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Gold Raiders FC's Turgut Turgut looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gold Raiders FC's Arkın Gariboğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 27th minute of play. Mathijn Doctor made in the 31st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gust Ennemans. Ertaç Budak hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Turgut Turgut sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Turgut Turgut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Gold Raiders FC's goalkeeper Arkın Gariboğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. In the 54th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkın Gariboğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Turgut Turgut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Eikelkamp got free with Arkın Gariboğlu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Gold Raiders FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arkın Gariboğlu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 62 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Turgut Turgut came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Turgut Turgut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Gust Ennemans hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Turgut Turgut scored 5-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gold Raiders FC's Arkın Gariboğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Gold Raiders FC from getting a goal against them. Arkın Gariboğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 90th minute of play forced Gold Raiders FC's goalkeeper Arkın Gariboğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Gold Raiders FC's Marcu Oblemenco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marcu Oblemenco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gold Raiders FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marcu Oblemenco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Gold Raiders FC's Marcu Oblemenco got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Turgut Turgut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
