Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ben Blind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Michael Corleone kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fodor Daniel. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Llorienzo Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ben Blind showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 26th minute of the match. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Silverio Berart tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match, Hector Herensuge sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Fodor Daniel showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Balazs Lajos notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Village Saint Charles FRC's Ben Blind. Ben Blind was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 36 minutes, Balazs Lajos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balazs Lajos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 40 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Vörös Henrik. Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Vörös Henrik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Llorienzo Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ben Blind didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Herensuge to make the kick off. Silverio Berart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th match minute, Village Saint Charles FRC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Vandamme to maneuver through the defense. Ben Blind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 58th minute of play. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ben Blind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antal Valentin kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Village Saint Charles FRC made a substitution. Jeremias Azubeli replaced Hector Herensuge. After 69 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Antal Valentin. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jeremias Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Village Saint Charles FRC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Azubeli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Antal Valentin took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Ben Blind to make any attempt to save it. Village Saint Charles FRC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Major Barna scored to the left of an out of position Ben Blind, making the score, 2-4. The supporters of Village Saint Charles FRC booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szekeres Tamas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Village Saint Charles FRC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
