Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Kochniarczyk in the 29th minute of play. Fabian Hludzenski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Fidel Blunt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilson Amorim. The goal made the score 2-0. Daniel Pimentel went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipinho Amorim in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Hludzenski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Astral's Bartlomiej Chazen got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Astral's zone, Bartolomeu Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Hludzenski came out of the goal and Bartolomeu Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Portugal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
