Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Creekers. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Gines got free with Wilson Amorim in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Portugal's Viriato Moura pulled a muscle in his leg after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Creekers's Sylvesteri Valkama got a free kick in the 12th minute. Ladislao Gines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Ladislao Gines notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jude Crocker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 24th minute of play. Veniamin Tziortzopoulos's late challenge caught a Portugal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Veniamin Tziortzopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. Veniamin Tziortzopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Saverio Vistruario kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Riley Trotter came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leevi Kampman in the 33rd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Creekers were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Portugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saverio Vistruario took the corner. In the 39th minute, Ladislao Gines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jude Crocker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graciano Coutinho in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Matos to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Gines in the 51st minute of the match. Creekers's Jude Crocker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 52nd minute of play. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Riley Trotter's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Leevi Kampman came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jude Crocker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 62nd minute. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jude Crocker came out of the goal and Daniel Pimentel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Felipinho Amorim. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipinho Amorim got free with Jude Crocker in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Veniamin Tziortzopoulos with Saverio Vistruario as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Graciano Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Reynaldo Driscoll took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Creekers.
