The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Willy Stieler a yellow card for diving instead. 10 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frits Nabe. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 14th minute. Frits Nabe struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for XENEIXES FC. Frits Nabe might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frits Nabe ran back to his position shaking his head. XENEIXES FC's Damazy Kinic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of XENEIXES FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damazy Kinic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Germany's Linus Schwerner managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristobal Gorri in the 43 minute of the game. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The XENEIXES FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Germany were winning 0-1.

XENEIXES FC made a substitution. Geronimo Tonio replaced Denis Chano. XENEIXES FC's Vyacheslav Konopatov was substituted for Alin Pârvan. The wind increased when Frits Nabe made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Germany booed when XENEIXES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Gorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vyacheslav Konopatov in the 63rd minute of play. Cristobal Gorri charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristobal Gorri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristobal Gorri hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Jeremias Ixaka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frits Nabe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Geronimo Tonio in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Janik Vogt. In the 75th minute Vyacheslav Konopatov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Vyacheslav Konopatov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frits Nabe, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 94 minutes into the game, Jose Fertus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. XENEIXES FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. The supporters of Germany booed when XENEIXES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Fertus didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cristobal Gorri was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. A collision led to XENEIXES FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cristobal Gorri hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Germany players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
