Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodrigo Lobo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 8th minute of play forced CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Ernesto Monge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 10th minute of play. David Eikelkamp might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Monge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Eikelkamp ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Monge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Miguel Volio tried to sneak it across the goal line. CS La Libertad were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mainor Coronado took the corner. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ernesto Monge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Nikos Valassiou took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. Bas Tuitert kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Mainor Coronado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nikos Valassiou to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ernesto Monge. That made the score 2-1 in the 56 minute of play. Wim Wilmes hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Volio in the 60th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Rodrigo Lobo put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arnout Reekers. 68 minutes into the match, Miguel Volio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Volio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 71 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernesto Monge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CS La Libertad made a substitution. Marco Ureña replaced Miguel Volio. 79 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Ernesto Monge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. After 91 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Egbert Nijveldt. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CS La Libertad had won after a very even match.
