Max Åström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bengt Örtendal kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Max Åström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Max Åström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Max Åström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 16th minute of play forced Olsfors SK's goalkeeper Max Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Strand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Hegedus Henrik notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Olsfors SK's Max Åström. Max Åström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olsfors SK's Max Åström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 22nd minute of play. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Åström having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Olsfors SK's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Max Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Takacs Tibor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Max Åström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.

Olsfors SK's Klas Melin was substituted for Roger Lundblad. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Erserman made a kick off. Max Åström made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Hegedus Henrik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max Åström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Olsfors SK's Max Åström got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 56 minutes Olsfors SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olsfors SK's Max Åström did a great save. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balazs Lajos struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Max Åström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Max Åström made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Major Barna dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Max Åström, 1-4. In the 73rd minute Hegedus Henrik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Max Åström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Olsfors SK defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Max Åström. The Olsfors SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Max Åström should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Olsfors SK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Kjell Hedlund hit a great ball. Max Åström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antal Valentin went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olsfors SK's goalkeeper Max Åström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Hungary booed when Olsfors SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Ove Caspersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Major Barna succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-7 in the 92nd playminute. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Olsfors SK throughout the match.
