Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henk Veerman in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Henk Veerman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. After 9 minutes of play, Älta BK's Henk Veerman made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lukas Falkrans's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. 14 minutes into the match, Älta BK's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Mosinho Mos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas Falkrans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Henk Veerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henk Veerman. In the 21st minute, Rareș Nicola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germany's Ulrich Stein got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hans-Werner Probst hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Älta BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Theo Lucius in the 32nd minute. It was a well-played corner which Henk Veerman managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Henk Veerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk Veerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henk Veerman's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. When Henk Veerman came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Älta BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henk Veerman couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Henk Veerman took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After having played for 61 minutes, Henk Veerman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Älta BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henk Veerman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Turi in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute Älta BK were awarded a corner. Theo Lucius went to the cornerflag to take it. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink in the 78th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Albin Holweck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mosinho Mos was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After 87 minutes of play, Älta BK's Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Javier Turi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Javier Turi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Älta BK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
