Jason Lobb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jason Lobb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuele Kunz in the 17th minute of play. Damion Stride hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Damion Stride's late challenge caught a Switzerland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damion Stride helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ got a freekick which was hit by Damion Stride. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Samuele Kunz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Switzerland's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuele Kunz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jason Lobb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Hias Nüssli managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's Eric Leadbeater fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hias Nüssli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Leadbeater in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Samuele Kunz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's Jason Lobb. Jason Lobb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hias Nüssli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Leadbeater in the 33rd minute. Darren Metcalf kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ defense, Samuele Kunz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jason Lobb. The ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jason Lobb should have stopped the shot. 1-2 became the score in the 43rd minute when Eric Leadbeater elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jacinto Maurer struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Jason Lobb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Switzerland. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuele Kunz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eric Leadbeater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Switzerland's Rodrigo von Känel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jason Lobb. That made the score 1-3 after 55 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's zone, Samuele Kunz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jason Lobb came out of the goal and Samuele Kunz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hias Nüssli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dom Kyle's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Eric Leadbeater sped through Switzerland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Leadbeater in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Vincent Dry hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Switzerland defense, Eric Leadbeater kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hias Nüssli. The Switzerland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hias Nüssli should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the game, Dom Kyle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Hias Nüssli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Switzerland for a fine match.
