The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With 10 minutes on the clock, Sebastian Purje commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 10th minute, one of -BZF- Barca de Buzau:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for -BZF- Barca de Buzau. In the 12th minute of the game, Xentrias got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. In the 16th minute, Liviu Răuţă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Olle Säfström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Șora in the 29th minute of play forced Xentrias's goalkeeper Maximilian Strömbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Xentrias's Pelle Rudqvist got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Emanuel Stanca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Ingemarsson in the 35th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Grigore Biriș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xentrias the free kick. In the 35th match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Biriș to maneuver through the defense. Pelle Rudqvist had several of the -BZF- Barca de Buzau's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Emanuel Stanca as he didn't even see the shot coming. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pelle Rudqvist to make the kick off. If Pelle Rudqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Robert Ingemarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xentrias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Ingemarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximilian Strömbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Movileanu in the 61st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Maximilian Strömbom successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Emanuel Movileanu's late challenge caught a Xentrias's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Movileanu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Emanuel Movileanu got a free kick in the 72nd minute. -BZF- Barca de Buzau made a substitution. Anton Otețea replaced Aurel Ionașcu. After 73 played minutes -BZF- Barca de Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Movileanu. In the 78th match minute, Xentrias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pelle Rudqvist to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 78 minutes, Manuel Șora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Șora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xentrias's Maximilian Strömbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Șora in the 83rd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Manuel Șora had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximilian Strömbom. Xentrias's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Șora was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. A collision led to -BZF- Barca de Buzau getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Adam Trapcea hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the game, Adam Trapcea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xentrias the free kick. Robert Ingemarsson scored 3-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Stanca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Stanca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pelle Rudqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

-BZF- Barca de Buzau's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
