In the 3rd match minute, Stiinta-Univ. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cazimir Pânzaru to maneuver through the defense. Avram Seremet charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Avram Seremet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Stiinta-Univ.'s Avram Seremet got a free kick in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Horaţiu Corduneanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jakub Logewnik. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horaţiu Corduneanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Mihai Niță hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Corduneanu got free with Jakub Logewnik in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stiinta-Univ.'s Denis Ghee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakub Olszewski in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Stiinta-Univ.'s Mihail Juverdeanu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mihail Juverdeanu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Stiinta-Univ. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mihail Juverdeanu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Stiinta-Univ. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Patryk Kicia lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 28th minute, one of Gocław Wilga Warszawa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gocław Wilga Warszawa. 37 minutes into the match, Stiinta-Univ.'s Horaţiu Corduneanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jakub Logewnik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Konrad Pluciennik got a free kick in the 38th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horaţiu Corduneanu to make the kick off. Borys Bronicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Ghee having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Gocław Wilga Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Czeslaw Bielatowicz to maneuver through the defense. Stiinta-Univ.'s Horaţiu Corduneanu got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Corduneanu in the 82nd minute of play forced Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goalkeeper Jakub Logewnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
