The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Arne Tingelholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Pajala Sunrise getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jim Tinglöf hit a great ball. When Pajala Sunrise's Yngve Sandström in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BuanaRaya's goalie prevented a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Yngve Sandström notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BuanaRaya's Jay Rupawan. Jay Rupawan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yngve Sandström in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jay Rupawan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute, Felix Katehokang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the BuanaRaya defense, Yngve Sandström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jay Rupawan. The BuanaRaya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jay Rupawan should have stopped the shot. Johannes Fernkvist took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jay Rupawan. Jay Rupawan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Yngve Sandström put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Jay Rupawan. After 39 minutes of play, Pajala Sunrise's Yngve Sandström made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jay Rupawan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, BuanaRaya's goal looked a bit too open when Yngve Sandström came free, but Jay Rupawan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Pajala Sunrise were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Yngve Sandström made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Pajala Sunrise's Jay Rupawan threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yngve Sandström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Kent Odén fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pajala Sunrise's protests and gave Kent Odén a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Kent Odén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yngve Sandström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jay Rupawan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pajala Sunrise booed when BuanaRaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Muttaqien didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jay Rupawan was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Yngve Sandström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yngve Sandström really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 65th match minute, BuanaRaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Hakim to maneuver through the defense. Yngve Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jay Rupawan having to interfere. When Yngve Sandström, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jay Rupawan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Yngve Sandström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Jay Rupawan made a huge save. Pajala Sunrise made a substitution. Gýmir Gryc replaced Arne Tingelholm. If Yngve Sandström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kent Odén was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 82nd minute, Kent Odén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gýmir Gryc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pajala Sunrise's supporters rose to their feet, but Gýmir Gryc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jay Rupawan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jay Rupawan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gýmir Gryc in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes BuanaRaya got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Hakim. 95 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's Gýmir Gryc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jay Rupawan narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
