The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Piernas Locas Crane FC:s Francisco Orlin showed great skill when he stopped Felipe Peña:s penalty. 10 minutes into the match, Piernas Locas Crane FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Lamberto came free, but Francisco Orlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Piernas Locas Crane FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Froylan to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Achtung Babies's goalkeeper Santiago Beltrán had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Abeitia. Francisco Orlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Florinio in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Americo Natanael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piernas Locas Crane FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Achtung Babies the free kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Americo Natanael made a kick off. Felipe Peña hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Francisco Orlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Tajo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Eleuterio Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Tajo in the 68th minute of play forced Piernas Locas Crane FC's goalkeeper Francisco Orlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Diego Tajo sped through Piernas Locas Crane FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Francisco Orlin. In the 77th match minute, Achtung Babies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Peña to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Achtung Babies's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Llin came free, but Santiago Beltrán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Achtung Babies booed when Piernas Locas Crane FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Caitano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 84 minutes, Diego Tajo made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Piernas Locas Crane FC's Francisco Orlin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Octavio Steven dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Francisco Orlin, 0-5. Francisco Orlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Tajo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eriberto Florinio's late challenge caught a Piernas Locas Crane FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Florinio helped the player get up and apologised. If Igor Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Achtung Babies's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
