Spectators: 555 (Terracing: 418, Seating: 127, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isidoro Gaueko started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes Ágætis Byrjun got a freekick which was hit by Johan Kikkert. 9 minutes into the match, San Pablo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serge Fleur came free, but Maximo Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ágætis Byrjun getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Johan Kikkert hit a great ball. Serge Buring came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by San Pablo FC's Sebastian Mateo. But to his dismay, Sebastian Mateo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Edgar Buys hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A hard shot 21 in the game by Sebastian Mateo from a close distance when the talented Serge Buring managed to make a qualified save. Ágætis Byrjun's players were relieved. Anier Izotz kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Anier Izotz charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Izotz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Ágætis Byrjun's Serge Buring got control of the ball when Isidoro Gaueko tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute Eduardo Chayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serge Buring saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Maurice Haydon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Faustino Luke fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Pablo FC's protests and gave Faustino Luke a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Isidoro Gaueko managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Pablo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Gaueko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serge Buring breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Ágætis Byrjun getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Michael de Kort hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Serge Buring, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 46 played minutes San Pablo FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Gagriel. After 47 played minutes, Ágætis Byrjun's Laurens Waterman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximo Pelayo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ágætis Byrjun reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerrie Kuijsten made a kick off. Maximo Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurice Haydon in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ágætis Byrjun's Maurice Haydon got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, San Pablo FC's goalkeeper Maximo Pelayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerrie Kuijsten. In the 60th minute Gerrie Kuijsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Ágætis Byrjun got a freekick which was hit by Laurens Waterman. Maurice Haydon hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. San Pablo FC's Maximo Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurice Haydon in the 71st minute of play. In the 78th match minute, San Pablo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Eleazar to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute of the match, Gerrie Kuijsten got a very nice opportunity to score, but Maximo Pelayo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ágætis Byrjun were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after San Pablo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcus Zaagman took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of San Pablo FC's goalie and right to Gerrie Kuijsten. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. San Pablo FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Serge Buring took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Mateo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
