New Joinville - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sliema Dragons FC the free kick. After 11 played minutes New Joinville - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Terra. Mike Salamone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinho Terra's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After 28 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Desira. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Joinville - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mike Salamone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Gustavson came out of the goal and Samuel Galdes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo in the 41st minute of play forced Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Mike Salamone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean Carl Mamo made a kick off. Mike Salamone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo-Hernán Cadelo in the 51st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Claudinho Terra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mike Salamone was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 67th minute, Hugo Favoretto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mike Salamone was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. New Joinville - FSCMZ made a substitution. Alfredinho Fernandes replaced Amauri Romero. Fabian Borg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Deivid Vander scored 0-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mike Salamone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sliema Dragons FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Marcel Goiano scored to the left of an out of position Mike Salamone, making the score, 0-3.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. New Joinville - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
