Blackened's Guido Weather played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho de Amaral in the 38th minute of play. When Bruno Santana came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Internazionale-RS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Santana couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Blackened's zone, Bruno Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Weather came out of the goal and Bruno Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Blackened getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Romeo Ofelio hit a great ball. The Blackened players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Internazionale-RS were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aristides Vigil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guido Weather made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorginho Soares in the 58th minute. David Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Maura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blackened's Guido Weather proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Blackened from getting a goal against them.
