In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aleschi FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Valeriani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Aleschi FC's Aurelio Valeriani. Aurelio Valeriani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute, Malam Drage ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 44 minutes into the match, Aleschi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Aurelio Valeriani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Alfredo Pierdomenico tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Thanks to some nice moves Edward Vanderstraeten could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Aurelio Valeriani however easily saved by the left post. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of Aleschi FC's Aurelio Valeriani. Aurelio Valeriani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Aurelio Valeriani made a huge save. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Valeriani. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Aurelio Valeriani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 95th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Belgium eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
