Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kai Østbye in the 3rd minute. Frode Tobiassen in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Kahn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 8 minutes into the game, Brufoss IL's Emanuel Markham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Leif Opdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 11th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Emanuel Markham sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Leif Opdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Opdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes Brufoss IL got a freekick which was hit by Kai Østbye. Tommy Kahn stood somewhat misplaced when Frode Tobiassen came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 36 minute. Leif Opdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Frank Sachs made a great header on Germany's corner, it was just that Brufoss IL's Leif Opdal managed to reach the ball for a save. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leif Opdal having to make a save. Leif Opdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute Emanuel Markham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

A collision led to Brufoss IL getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Emanuel Markham hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Germany's Albin Holweck dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 57th minute of play forced Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Leif Opdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Frode Tobiassen notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brufoss IL's Asbjørn Sigurdsen was substituted for Anders Elstad. August Bergsland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Emanuel Markham notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Markham in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, August Bergsland notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brufoss IL's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
