Jago Urquijo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 16th minute of the match. Jago Urquijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 22nd minute of play. Kajar Indrekson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kajar Indrekson made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, C.A. Husky's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Jago Urquijo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jago Urquijo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jago Urquijo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, Lars Meesters had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jago Urquijo. C.A. Husky's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Meesters was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Jago Urquijo in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nabar Zafrilla in the 72nd minute of the match. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nabar Zafrilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Nabar Zafrilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A. Husky made a substitution. In the 88th minute, Mathijn Doctor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kajar Indrekson took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
