Astor Efren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astor Efren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 14th minute of the match. After 17 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Astor Efren was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Efren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Frutos in the 22nd minute of the match. After 29 minutes Yupandú FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Fodor Daniel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balazs Lajos in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Astor Efren saved Yupandú FC from getting behind. Hegedus Henrik kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Michalski in the 43rd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Michalski in the 45th minute of play. Astor Efren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Major Barna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Astor Efren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Yupandú FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Eloy Betadur hit a great ball. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hungary's Hegedus Henrik pulled a muscle in his leg after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 65 minutes into the game, Miguel Rivas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yupandú FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gwidon Michalski in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gwidon Michalski in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 80 played minutes Yupandú FC got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Betadur. Yupandú FC's Everardo Emesto was substituted for Gwidon Michalski. In the 82nd match minute, Yupandú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Betadur to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Takacs Tibor hit a great ball. Astor Efren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 87th minute. Marcelino Enaut blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. In the 94th match minute, Yupandú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Cordaryal to maneuver through the defense. If Delmiro Frutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
