Eliseo Guillelme hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Adrian Železný showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 6th minute of the match. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Pieterjan Vanneste tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Železný having to interfere. Pieterjan Vanneste in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Casper Claes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 21 minutes in the game Jasper Kerckmans did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kristian Harrit. Belgium's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FCB team the free kick. In the 30th minute, Siebe Michiels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Železný having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Dervaux in the 34th minute of play forced FCB team's goalkeeper Adrian Železný to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Yves Dervaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Železný saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philippe Jensen in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, FCB team's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Adrian Železný reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Adrian Železný in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Belgium booed when FCB team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Harrit didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by FCB team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten was slow to take the kick. During this time Belgium's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten to fire away a dangerous shot which Adrian Železný despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCB team's goalkeeper Adrian Železný, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Harrit came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieterjan Vanneste in the 77th minute of play. Adrian Železný made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 78th minute of play. FCB team made a substitution. Diederiek Dirckx replaced Pieterjan Vanneste. FCB team's Kamber Aydınoğlu was substituted for Philippe Jensen. In the 82nd match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yves Dervaux to maneuver through the defense. Edward Vanderstraeten did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Adrian Železný 84 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Harrit in the 90th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The FCB team supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Belgium's performance. The match ended with a win for Belgium.
