During this time LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's players had a chance to rest. 23 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Cosimo Mascia. Cosimo Mascia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, Noureddine Sanchis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Amorim, 2-1. Noureddine Sanchis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Noureddine Sanchis to make the kick off. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noureddine Sanchis in the 53rd minute of play. If Noureddine Sanchis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 61st minute of play forced LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goalkeeper Cosimo Mascia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Cosimo Mascia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosimo Mascia saved LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO from getting behind. Cosimo Mascia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Portugal booed when LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guntademaro Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO made a substitution. Haakon Taankvist replaced Guntademaro Pena. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. In the 73rd minute, Guntademaro Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Nóbrega. Daniel Pimentel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosimo Mascia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Felipinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Haakon Taankvist made in the 83rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noureddine Sanchis in the 84th minute of play. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noureddine Sanchis went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 92 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Noureddine Sanchis came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
