Pascual Pitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pascual Pitin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Pitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Pimentel. After a rather tough play, Maní FC's Dieguinho Cruz got a free kick in the 27th minute. Maní FC's Pascual Pitin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Maní FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Pascual Pitin in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Hauche in the 82nd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Hauche came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Maní FC's Gabriel Hauche. But to his dismay, Gabriel Hauche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 91st minute of the match Teofilo Niva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilson Amorim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maní FC's Pascual Pitin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Maní FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartolomeu Dias in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascual Pitin saved Maní FC from getting behind. Portugal were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
