In the 24th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélio Donatello to make the kick off. Renan Schmidt came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renan Schmidt made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Egbert Nijveldt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Renan Schmidt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 68th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Renan Schmidt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 69 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Renan Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Donatello in the 74th minute of the match.
