An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 12th minute of play forced Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Gustaw Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Walery Bienienda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustaw Nowak. Gustaw Nowak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Pawel Drapinski got a free kick in the 27th minute. With an all-out effort, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tristan Lannister, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Ciccio Kowalczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciccio Kowalczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszek Le Bonniec in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Gustaw Nowak was a little too slow when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-2. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Pedro Dracena went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Nowak having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Tristan Lannister put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Arnout Reekers. 71 minutes into the match, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Gustaw Nowak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Walery Bienienda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaw Nowak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gijsbert ter Kruimer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Gustaw Nowak did a great save. In the 76th match minute, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tristan Lannister to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Walery Bienienda got a free kick in the 84th minute. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Rafal Ludwiczak was substituted for Zbyszek Le Bonniec. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Felix Blas was substituted for Pawel Drapinski. Walery Bienienda hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Lannister in the 87th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Cala. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 95 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Netherlands for a fine match.
