Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davut Uyanik in the 29th minute of play. In the 29th minute Davut Uyanik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriele Batistuta in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tunaydin Aga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Doruk Kashani scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Salvidor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doruk Kashani came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davut Uyanik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Salvidor having to interfere. The Menchu FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Turkey were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doruk Kashani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davut Uyanik in the 52nd minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cengiz Aksoy hit a great ball. Gabriele Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute of the match Turkey got a corner. Menchu FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tosunbey Gulpinar ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Turkey's corner Tosunbey Gulpinar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Camilo Salvidor quite easily take care of the ball.
