Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Damon Sennrich got the match started through his kick off. Damon Sennrich kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes FC Thierachern got a freekick which was hit by Harlow Weingartner. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 15 minutes, Damon Sennrich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Thierachern's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damon Sennrich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian Brechbühl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute of the game Benoit Brandt made a throw-in which Günther Huri played forward. A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Harlow Weingartner with Benoit Brandt as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 32nd minute Damon Sennrich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes, Chris Nygaard made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Thierachern's Florian Brechbühl tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damon Sennrich in the 39th minute of play. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Brechbühl having to interfere. The FC Thierachern players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Denmark were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Chris Nygaard made the kick off in the second half. Barney Theissl kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Benoit Brandt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Benoit Brandt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Brechbühl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Florian Brechbühl made a huge save. Jim Leupi scored 1-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 72 minutes into the match, FC Thierachern's goalkeeper Florian Brechbühl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. After a defensive mix-up in FC Thierachern's zone, Bjarne Kirkegaard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Brechbühl came out of the goal and Bjarne Kirkegaard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bjarne Kirkegaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lars Steen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Sennrich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertram Svenningsen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Florian Brechbühl skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. FC Thierachern's Florian Brechbühl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save FC Thierachern from getting a goal against them. Florian Brechbühl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 91st minute of the match. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Nygaard got free with Florian Brechbühl in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Thierachern's Florian Brechbühl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save FC Thierachern from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great ball. Denmark were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
