After having played for 4 minutes, Peter Jutz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marchu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Jutz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th minute, Rodrigo von Känel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 林卫适 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hias Nüssli having to make a save. Hias Nüssli made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Birger Lilja sent off a good shot on target. Marchu FC were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Switzerland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iker Guifre took the corner. The corner led Marchu FC's Iker Guifre to fire away a dangerous shot which Hias Nüssli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuele Kunz in the 11th minute of play forced Marchu FC's goalkeeper Aurelio Mergildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Birger Lilja received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hias Nüssli came out and tried to block the shot, but Birger Lilja slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Birger Lilja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Jutz came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Mergildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuele Kunz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Timo Siegmund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hias Nüssli stood somewhat misplaced when Peter Jutz came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 24 minute. Marchu FC's Aurelio Mergildo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Maurer in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 林卫适. After having played for 37 minutes, Birger Lilja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 47th minute, 林卫适 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 林卫适 made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Birger Lilja in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hias Nüssli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 林卫适 scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hias Nüssli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Maurer during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Switzerland got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Maurer. 林卫适 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Birger Lilja made a precise shot to the right of Hias Nüssli. Switzerland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. When 林卫适 came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Marchu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 林卫适 couldn't finish the play. Birger Lilja recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute 林卫适 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Romero in the 87th minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hias Nüssli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Feliberto Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Marchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wandy Petera to maneuver through the defense. After 94 minutes, Peter Jutz made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Marchu FC were the better team. Marchu FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
